New Diorama debut!

Today my new diorama had its public debut in a book shop window in Carcassonne, France

Majuscule

is the largest book and art shop in Carcassonne (Languedoc region of south-west France)

This is not the first time I have shown here - the last time included The Tempest diorama, which sold 

soon thereafter

Since the above photograph does not show the new stage set in all its glory, here is a closer shot!

The frame is hand painted by my framer, Karine. Her studio is just a few yards away from the bookshop itself. Here below is the new diorama - called Le Jardin de Jean-Jacques Rousseau - in detail:

This diorama - plus four others - is destined (I hope!) for an exhibition at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle later this year
