Miranda's Dream

About four years I wrote and directed a stage play/dance drama which was a prequel to Shakespeare's The Tempest.
The choreography was by Gill Roncarelli

This little drawing is how I imagined Miranda - Prospero's daughter - who, with her father, is marooned on a strange and beautiful island

Here is another version of Miranda, this time using photographic elements.
This interest in The Tempest runs through my work during the last fifteen years or so and may well continue for the next fifteen (maybe!)

Boxed stage set of a dramatic moment from The Tempest

If you would like to commission a boxed stage set by me of a subject (and size) of your choice, please see the right-hand column of this blog for more details.
